From a young age Ingrid Marie Chapman loved to read and write. As a child her mother would take her to the library for new books to read. It wasn’t long before Ingrid started writing stories of her own.  It was her stories that helped her get accepted into The School for Creative and Performing Arts in her hometown, Cincinnati, OH.

 

She participated in various programs including creative writing, drama, ballet as well as instrumental and vocal music.  She later attended Wright State University majoring in Motion Picture Production. In 2013 she launched First Lady Publishing LLC and released her first novel, Love Without Trust which was named one of the best books of 2013 by AAMBC.  Her second novel, Stronger With Each Tear, was released in  2023. She is currently working on various projects.​
